The Love of God

If you have "felt" the love of God & yet moved past it, you have not truly allowed yourself to ponder the love of God. Found in the love of God are the deepest, most valuable riches & treasures. There are craters & caves of His heart that still have yet to be explored, even after years of expedition! Revelation of His love does not come to us only in a moment, but radiates towards us morning, noon, & night, 24/7, every hour of every day of the rest of our lives. It is the nutrients we need to grow up into salvation, meaning we need it daily! Today, your Father is inviting you into a new cavern of His heart & allowing you to explore the wonders of His thoughts for you. Accept this invitation, you will not regret it!
Here are some practical examples for soaking in the love of God today:
- Take communion & ponder on Jesus's sacrifice.
- Play a sweet love song & let God sing it to you. Some of my personal favorites are Love Note by Upperroom or Heaven's Knife by Josh Garrells.
- Ask God what He thinks of you.
- Take a walk outside & enjoy the beauty He laid out for you.
- Pick a short passage of scripture that encourages you in His love. Read it over & over again, slowly. Let it sink in. If you don't know which passage, start with these!: John 3:16, Ephesians 3:14-19, Titus 3:3-7.
